Today, February 11, 2012, my wonderful friend Kristin turned the big twentay. Because it's a saturday and she didn't have any plans, we got to spend all day together and it was great!
I can't believe I have only known her for a year and a half, she is very dear to my heart. So I wanted to document the day so she and I could remember all of it!
8:45- I pick her up at her apartment and we head to the Village Bean for a Bible Study meeting. We both look totally awake....not.
9:00- Josh buys your drink for your birthday and we share a dutch letter.
10:20-11:00- The guys left so we talk for a while about how we want to do better at prioritizing our time with Jesus...and yet we talk instead of reading haha
11:00- 11:40- We read and have our quiet times.
11:50- We pick up Peggy, Jocelyn and Emily and head to Thai flavors. We got Pad Thai and some crab rangoons, they were sooooo good. We spent our time talking about our favorite birthdays from our past and water parks.
1:00- Head back to your apartment, totally stuffed and in food comas. While we are there we spend our time making funny animal noises and whistling.
1:50-We go to the movie Big Miracle about the whales. When the movie starts you say rather loudly, "I love whales." Two of the characters had pretty awesome Minnesotan accents and we laughed a lot.
4:00- We leave the movie and head back. We were all dead tired even though the movie was really good. Emily started falling asleep on the way back. I dropped you guys off so we could take naps!
7:00-You guys go to church
9:30-SURPRISE!! party in your apartment :) Here are some of the fun things we did for your birthday party!
